The Birth of a Leader Plan – ACP

Smallest group to largest group

Platoon- consists of about 2 soldiers and is lead by a captain or a major.

Regiment- consists of 2 platoons(4 soldiers) and is lead by a Colonel. Lt. Colonels may be the 2ic of a regiment.

Brigade- consists of 2 regiments (8 soldiers) and is lead by a brigadier general

Division- consists of 2 brigades (16 soldiers) and is lead by a lt. general. The major general will assist in leading the division.

Corps- consists of 2 divisions (32 soldiers) and is lead by a master general, with the field general being the 2ic.

Army- consists of  2 corps (64 soldiers) and is lead by a  a 2nd in command, with the 3ic being the vice-leader

Entire Army- consists of 2 corps or more (128+ soldiers) and is lead by the General of the Army
